After 7 weeks of intense double battles the ABL’s regular season comes to a close and with that the 8 teams that made their way into the playoffs prepare for the final 3 weeks of battles to determine who will be crowned the Amateur Battle League’s Season II Champion.
Sword Division Playoff Teams:
San Juan Froakies
Coached by CurseShooter the SJF have been determined to make their way into the playoffs and win it all. With a regular season record of 5-1 and a total regular season record of 10-3 the San Juan Froakies pose a threat to any team they go against.
Coached by TeamSnagemWes the PHS barely fell out of the playoffs last season, but with what is potentially the best drafted team in the season, a regular season record of 5-1 and a total regular season record of 8-5 the PHS might just be headed to a championship.
Coached by TideMasterTim the BXB which were last season’s champions are back for yet another playoff. What started with a rocky start this season has potentially awakened the bear. With a regular season record of 4-2 and a total regular season record of 9-4 the ENEMIES OF THE BEAR, BEWEAR!
Coached by Paige LaBarge from TheGeekyParents, the SPB are one of the many rookie coaches that pushed their way through into the playoffs. With a solid start to the season the SPB managed to quickly secure a spot in the playoffs early in the season. With a total regular season record of 3-3 it’ll be interesting to see the SPB continue the push for champion!
Shield Division Playoff Teams:
Corpus Christi Cubones
Coached by NoLeaksLouiee the CCC, a rookie team to the ABL came into the season like a steam-roller. Being the only undefeated team in the entire playoffs, can the CCC maintain their perfect regular season record of 6-0 throughout the final weeks?
Coached by David LaBarge from TheGeekyParents the ATS are back in the playoffs this season. Falling short and being the second place victor last season the ATS came in strong with a regular season record of 5-1 and a total regular season record of 10-3. Will the ATS claim the championship this time around after falling short last time?
Gotham City Gengars
Coached by CosmicCubicle, the GCG are yet another rookie team in the playoffs this season. With a total regular season record of 4-2 the GCG have a very solid chance of becoming the champion this season. Will their first visit to the playoffs include a championship title?
San Tan Scizors
Coached by MrGooberMania the STS are also first timers to the ABL scene. Having been the only team to not draft a mega evolution Pokemon and holding a total regular season record of 3-3 and making it to the playoffs, goes to show that the STS have every chance of winning it all.
